Still is a corpus produced from layers of paint from the Ford car body workshops in Detroit. The striations of his Still aren't images of the past, but the indelible traces of the workers duty. Those layers of paint accumulated over days were withdrawn in blocks, relating to a collection of minerals.

Originally, Still was not a usual object, therefor we can't talk about a classic ready made. We would rather talk about an uncontrollable andinadvertent shape of sliding images and reality. Still shows simultaneously the performance of color, work, and repetition of a mechanical gesture. The viewer is invited to contemplate this map oftime. The Still's became monuments - guardian of memories - and life became matter.
